Here are a number of common questions and their answers relating to the Beep-Beep system:
Q: How can I be sure that Beep-Beep! is a legal business entity?
A: It is illegal for banks to open an account for anyone or any business if it does not have all the relevant legal documents as specified by law in South Africa. Beep-Beep! has a business bank account with ABSA – that in itself proves the legality of Beep-Beep!
Q: Can I build my Beep-Beep! business in other countries?
A: Unfortunately not, you can only build in South Africa.
Q: What are the age restrictions to start a Beep-Beep! business?
A: The qualifying criterion is not age related. The criteria to become a member are: each member must have a FICA approved bank A/C & a RICA approved cell phone number. However, we do ask that Beepers do not defraud our Advertisers by registering children that can not even read yet.
Q: Is my Beep-Beep! business inheritable, or does it fall away when I pass on?
A: Certainly it is will-able, it’s your business after all! Please include your Beep-Beep! business in your will. The beneficiary will simply need to notify us of your passing and furnish us with a copy of the death certificate and their details so that we can make the needed adjustments.
Q: What about Tax?
A: Beep-Beep! does not actually employ Beepers, therefore we do not deduct tax, however, each member is required to declare their income with the Tax Department.
Q: How many people may I introduce into Beep-Beep! ?
A: You may introduce as many people as you want into your Beep-Beep! business.
Q: Can I place my people anywhere in the matrix that I want to?
A: All people that you introduce personally go on your first level – there is no restriction as to the width of your business.
Q: When will I earn commissions?
A: Active commissions – from enrolling people – will be paid on the 15th of the month following a members accumulation of R100. Advertising revenues will only start accumulating after launch.
Q: How and where will my commissions/income be paid?
A: As soon as a member has accumulated/earned their first R100, they will be contacted by Beep-Beep! to get the members preferred bank account details. However, if a Beeper would want to alleviate month end congestion for us, they are welcome to provide us with their preferred banking details either by fax or e-mail. The first payment will be made on the 15th of the month following the qualifying month.
Q: When is month end & pay day?
A: Month end will be the last day of the month & pay day will be on the 15th of the following month or the first business day after the 15th.
Q: May I introduce advertisers to Beep-Beep!?
A: We encourage members to introduce Beep-Beep! to potential advertisers. It can also be very lucrative. When an advertiser – that you have introduced- uses Beep-Beep! you will earn I cent for every sms sent for their campaign. This applies to every sms sent for them – not just ones sent to your personal team.
Q: What happens to my business if I lose my cell phone number ?
A: You are required to notify Beep-Beep! By faxing the details – including your previous number and your new number, with a sworn affidavit. Fax documents to: 0865880054
Q: May I de-register if I decide I no longer wish to receive the sms adverts?
A: Certainly, all you need to do is send an email requesting to be de-registered. Naturally, you must understand if you do choose to be de-registered you can no longer participate in the incomes from people in your team.
Q: May I register more than once with Beep-Beep!?
A: You are not able to register the same cell number more than once. We also believe that it is unethical to register yourself more than once as you are in fact defrauding our advertisers.
Q: Will I be restricted from belonging to any other Network Marketing companies?
A: Beep-Beep! Imposes no such restrictions as we believe in this industry.
Q: Will I earn any money if I do not introduce any people to Beep-Beep!?
A: A very big YES! You will earn 5cents for every sms you receive to your registered cell number.
Q: Do members have a choice as to what type of adverts they receive based on personal preference?
A: This would curtail their income, so the answer is no. We want every member to earn as much as possible.
Q: I see there is a member log in. What is this for and when do I get my user name and password?
A: The members login is for those who are serious ‘business builders’. In the Members area, a Beeper will be able to see how their business is progressing. To get a password simply sms the letters PW to 34110. Use your cell number as the username and your new password.
Q: How will I know how many people I have enrolled if I do not have Internet?
A: You can track this by sms. Simply send the word TEAM to 34110. This sms will cost you R2
Q: May I use/copy information from the Beep-Beep! website and use it for my marketing attempts?
A: You may, on condition that you do not add or remove anything that could misrepresent Beep-Beep! in any way.
